Columbia Heights Federation of Teachers (Local #710) is thrilled to invite you to show your solidarity as we fight for a fair and equitable contract, on TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 6th.
We will start off with a “Rally at the Flagpole” at the flagpole between Columbia Heights High School and Highland Elementary (1400 49th Ave NE, Columbia Heights, MN, 55421) at 5:15pm. Members from Local #710 will speak as well as Denise Specht, President of Education Minnesota!! There will be signs and chants as we get fired up before the school board meeting!
We will then PACK THE HOUSE at the school board meeting at 6:00pm and show the school board just how important a fair contract is for our teachers and students! A few members from Local #710 will speak to the board and share their personal stories.
